With aggressive 2025 targets, we need a motivated and experienced sales professional who thrives in a performance-based environment and is ready to build lasting client relationships while helping lead our expansion into new markets. This is a full-cycle B2B sales role focused on selling commercial landscape maintenance, aquatic management services, and landscape construction projects to HOAs, government entities, retail centers, office parks, industrial parks, and 55+ communities. You’ll be responsible for prospecting, estimating, presenting, and closing deals that generate both long-term recurring revenue and high-value construction projects. Key Responsibilities Proactively identify, pursue, and close new commercial landscape maintenance and aquatic contracts Strategically pursue and sell landscape construction projects that align with company goals and offer future maintenance opportunities Conduct on-site walk-throughs and assessments to generate accurate scopes and estimates Prepare proposals using company pricing tools and present to decision-makers Maintain consistent prospecting activity and pipeline reporting in Aspire CRM or Hubspot Attend local networking events and industry functions to grow your lead base Collaborate with Account Managers to ensure smooth client hand-off and ongoing satisfaction Drive throughout Charleston to meet potential clients face-to-face and build strong local relationships Must have a broad and deep understanding of the landscaping industry , including but not limited to: landscape construction, irrigation systems, hardscapes/concrete work, turf and ornamental chemical programs, and commercial maintenance standards Requirements 2+ years of successful B2B sales experience in landscaping or construction Extensive industry knowledge required , including terminology, service scopes, and standards in maintenance, construction, irrigation, chemical, and hardscaping Experience submitting proposals to HOAs, government agencies, and 55+ communities Demonstrated ability to sell $1M+ in recurring contracts annually Proven experience selling landscape construction projects is required Strong understanding of commercial property structures and procurement processes Proficient with CRM systems (Aspire preferred), estimating tools, and proposal software Must be capable of completing all proposals in full—accurately and independently Excellent communication, follow-through, and closing ability Willingness to drive throughout the Charleston area to meet clients face-to-face Self-motivated, organized, and accountable Must have: Valid driver’s license Clean driving record Ability to pass drug screening
Performance Expectations Recurring Contract Sales Goal:
$1.25M-$2.0M in new annual maintenance & aquatic contract revenue
Landscape Construction Sales Goal:
$1.0M-$1.75M in new installation project sales annually
Weekly Activity Goals:
10-15 new prospect touches 4-6 on-site property assessments 3-4 proposals submitted
Reporting:
Track sales activity and pipeline in Aspire CRM weekly or
Hubspot Compensation & Benefits Base Salary:
$70,000/year
Recurring Contract Commission:
3% of first-year contract value ( paid after payment received & job meets margin goals )
Construction Commission:
