Full Job Description Sales Representative Overview:

We are hiring a full-time sales rep in North Charleston, SC. This position is responsible for supporting our clients from the initial sales conversation in our showroom or on the phone to ongoing customer support. As a sales rep, you will take guidance from Sales Leaders to help maximize sales opportunities. Our team of experienced inside sales representatives respond to customer requests for quotes and proactively follow up to manage the customer journey and ensure a positive and effective process. An ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience and understands how sales and customer service work together. As a sales representative you will be eligible for additional earnings from sales spiffs and sales contest. •Background Check and Drug Test Required•Sales Rep Responsibilities Include Greet customers as they enter the showroom and provide them with product information and assistance. Assist customers in exploring our product offerings, understanding features, and selecting the most suitable options based on their needs. Respond to customer inquiries in person, over the phone, and via email promptly and professionally. Process sales transactions accurately using our point-of-sale (POS) system and ensure all payments are handled securely. Maintain a tidy and organized showroom environment by arranging products neatly and regularly conducting cleaning tasks. Collaborate with other team members to ensure all customer needs are met efficiently and effectively. Stay informed about product updates, promotions, and special offers to effectively communicate them to customers. Participate in regular training sessions to enhance product knowledge, customer service skills, and sales techniques. Assist with inventory management tasks, including receiving new stock, conducting stock checks, and replenishing products on display. Uphold company policies and procedures regarding customer interactions, sales processes, and showroom operations. Sales Rep Skills/Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in sales or customer service is a plus. Proven experience in a customer service or sales role, preferably in a retail environment. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage customers in a friendly and approachable manner. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain a well-organized showroom. Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals. Basic math skills and proficiency in using a point-of-sale (POS) system for processing transactions. Knowledge of or interest in the products offered in the showroom, with a willingness to learn and stay updated on product features and specifications. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle customer inquiries and concerns with professionalism and patience. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Capable of lifting and carrying items weighing up to 25 pounds. Comfortable bending, stooping, and reaching to access products and perform cleaning tasks. Visual acuity to inspect products and assist customers with product selection.
