Position Summary:
The Inside Sales Representative serves as a brand ambassador and frontline sales expert for the Baltimore-region territory. You’ll drive sales from inside the branch office—via phone, email, and digital tools—with both new and existing customers. This role is about building trust, delivering solutions, and turning conversations into conversions. If you’re a relationship-builder who thrives in a fast-paced, product-focused environment, this one’s for you. You’ll provide a top-tier customer experience, actively promote new and existing products, and collaborate with vendors and internal specialists to deliver real value to our clients. A sharp, friendly, and informed demeanor is a must.
Key Responsibilities:
Make daily sales calls and follow-ups with prospects and customers Build and maintain strong, loyal customer relationships Keep accurate records of sales activities and customer accounts Educate customers on product benefits—financial and practical Sell Würth Wood Group products across your territory Track competitor activity and market conditions Answer incoming customer calls—promptly, professionally, and effectively Assist customers with order status, questions, and general support Recommend relevant products or upgrades (cross-sell/up-sell) Drive web sales activity with your customer base Address customer concerns with speed and courtesy Stay up to date with new products, promos, and internal training Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or GED required College degree in marketing or a related field is a plus
Skills & Experience:
Prior experience in sales and/or customer service Strong communication and interpersonal skills Highly organized and detail-oriented Self-starter with a solutions-driven mindset Solid understanding of sales principles and service excellence Ability to multitask and stay agile in a busy office environment Friendly, professional, and motivated to deliver results Willingness to learn and think outside the box Commitment to ethical standards and company policies
Reporting Structure:
Reports directly to the General Manager This position does not include supervisory responsibilities
Work Environment:
This is a branch-based sales role located at our Greer, SC facility You’ll work from the sales office, collaborating with team members onsite
