Position Summary:

We are seeking an to support our team in managing lighting projects from initial quotation through order fulfillment and post-sale support. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple projects, coordinate with manufacturers and clients, and ensure the accurate and timely execution of lighting packages for commercial, residential, and architectural projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management (Pre and Post Construction): Oversee lighting projects from specification and quoting through order processing and delivery. Review construction documents, lighting schedules, and architectural plans to identify scope and ensure product compatibility. Manage submittals, shop drawings, and approval processes with contractors and specifiers. Track and maintain project timelines, schedules, and delivery milestones. Coordinate with manufacturers on lead times, order status, freight tracking, and backorders. Communicate project updates clearly and regularly with clients, contractors, and internal teams. Manage change orders, value engineering requests, substitutions, and respecifications. Ensure product compliance with specifications and assist with field issue resolutions post-installation.

Inside Sales Support:

Prepare and issue accurate project quotations in response to bid requests or negotiated opportunities. Provide responsive customer service to electrical contractors, distributors, engineers, and designers. Assist outside sales team in tracking leads, opportunities, and sales activities in CRM or project management tools. Maintain accurate project records, correspondence, and documentation. Collaborate with the warehouse or logistics teams on deliveries and jobsite coordination when needed.

Qualifications:

Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills. Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel); familiarity with OASIS a plus. Self-motivated with a high degree of ownership and attention to detail.

Preferred:

Experience working for a lighting manufacturer’s representative or electrical distributor, or similar inside sales/project management experience Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, Lighting Design, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

$60,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
