Furniture Sales Consultant Hucks & Washington Furniture 1506 Main Street, Conway, SC 29526 Job Overview Hucks & Washington Furniture has been family owned and operated since 1946 and due to our explosive growth we are seeking to add a motivated and dynamic Sales Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, understanding client needs, and effectively selling our products and services. As a Sales Consultant, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and ensuring customer satisfaction through your expertise in retail sales. Prior sales experience required and Furniture Sales strongly preferred… Duties Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions. Demonstrate product features and benefits to encourage purchases. Utilize upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities. Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor. Process transactions accurately using retail math skills. Assist in supervising junior staff members when necessary. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to enhance customer experience. Stay informed about product knowledge and industry trends to effectively communicate with customers. Skills Proven experience in sales, preferably in a retail environment. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively. Proficiency in upselling techniques to enhance sales performance. Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing and inventory management.
