Full Job Description Position Overview:
The Sales and Leasing representative is responsible for managing all aspects of the sales and leasing process, including interacting with prospective and current residents, showcasing homes, processing applications, and maintaining a positive relationship with the community.
Key Responsibilities:
1.
Sales & Leasing:
Actively market and sell new and used manufactured homes to prospective buyers. Manage the leasing process, including showcasing homes, providing tours, explaining lease terms, and processing applications. 2.
Customer Service:
Respond promptly and professionally to all inquiries from potential residents, current tenants, and community stakeholders. Address resident concerns and follow up with maintenance and management teams to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner. Build and maintain relationships with current and prospective residents to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. 3.
Administrative Duties:
Process sales and lease applications, including credit checks, employment verifications, and other background reviews. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions with prospective and current residents, home sales, and leases. Prepare and execute lease agreements, ensure compliance with all company policies and relevant legal regulations. 4.
Marketing & Community Outreach:
Assist in planning and executing marketing initiatives to promote home sales and community occupancy. Collaborate with the community management team to organize events and programs to attract new residents. 5.
Property Tours & Presentation:
Conduct tours of the community and available homes, ensuring they are clean, well-maintained, and market-ready. Highlight key features and amenities of the community to potential residents and home buyers.
Requirements:
Education:
High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business or real estate preferred.
Experience:
1-3 years of experience in sales, leasing, or real estate, preferably in the manufactured housing or property management industry.
Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize efficiently. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and leasing software (Rent Manager or similar)
