Sales Leader/Account Executive Midlands Media Group Columbia, SC 29201 Locally owned Midlands Media Group is seeking an enthusiastic, effective sales professional who thrives on helping local businesses achieve their goals. If you are a highly organized self-starter who loves people and loves the Midlands, this position might be for you!
Job Responsibilities:
Prospect, qualify, sell and service advertising to new businesses; build and maintain positive working relationships with existing clients; and sell additional company products and services to both new and existing clients. In addition, candidate will prepare campaign schedules, promotional ideas, negotiate business contracts and achieve revenue goals. This position requires the individual to make face-to-face calls on current clients and new prospects. This is a commission-based position, however a base salary is provided provided through on-boarding period.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Work experience and/or education in sales, college degree preferred. Strong verbal, written, math and phone skills. Strong organization skills and ability to multi-task and shift priorities as needed. Proficient computer knowledge (ie, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, CRM platform) Individual must complete a background check, have a valid drivers license as well as auto insurance and reliable transportation. Leadership experience preferred. Comprehensive knowledge of the Greater Columbia, SC area.
Work Schedule:
Work schedule hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. Attendance at company meetings and/or events as well as networking functions which may fall outside normal Monday through Friday schedule may also be required.
