Vocational Talent & Scholar Programs Co-Op (FALL 2025)

Description
The Vocational Training and Apprenticeship Co-op will facilitate continuous improvement projects for the Vocational Talent Programs within and outside the plant.
The co-op will drive and support the recruiting processes and events (online and in-person) which will attract new talent to internal and external programs, as well as automate manual processes in recruiting, hiring, and tracking of scholars and their performance.
The qualified co-op should expect to contribute & improve in the following functions:
Scheduling and managing recruiting events.
Scheduling testing and interviews for program candidates.
Coordination/Owner of Scholar Microsoft Teams page and monthly newsletter.
Manage and complete a continuous improvement project for at least one of the processes utilized within the program administration.
Automate internal processes to improve efficiencies.
MS Teams page augmentation.
Create a virtual recruiting extravaganza by developing Virtual Reality modules and online content to be shared with potential candidates.
Qualifications
Pursuing degree in Engineering, Information Technology or Business Degree (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, IT, HR, Marketing, Management, Organizational Development, Psychology, Communications).
MS Excel and PowerPoint.
Good communication skills (written and oral).
Organization skills.
Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major).
Have enrolled status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application.
Ability to complete 3 work terms for co-op positions. Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours / week).
Transfer students must have a GPA from current university.

MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT.

Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
