Hyperion Networks, a fast-growing Managed IT Services Provider, is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our sales team. This role combines aspects of both sales development and inside sales, offering an exciting opportunity to build relationships, drive new business, and support our growth. As an SDR / Inside Sales Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our sales organization. You will engage with new and existing clients, qualifying leads, setting appointments, and helping to drive outbound outreach efforts. You’ll work closely with our sales and marketing teams to ensure a seamless experience for prospects, from initial contact to signed quote. Lead Generation & Outreach:
Make 25+ outbound calls and 25+ emails per day to targeted prospects in the IT industry. Qualify leads and set appointments for the sales team to discuss managed IT services, cloud solutions, cybersecurity, and other technology offerings.
Sales Pipeline:
Drive daily outreach to upsell and cross-sell IT solutions, including IT support, data management, and network security services to businesses in the local market.
Relationship Building:
Engage with prospects, listen to their needs, and offer technology solutions that address their challenges—whether that’s improving network security, enhancing IT infrastructure, or managing cloud services.
Sales Process Support:
Assist in the sales process from initial outreach to qualified meetings and converting leads into opportunities for managed IT services, technology consulting, and business IT solutions.
CRM Management:
Consistently and accurately track activity, manage data in the CRM (GlassHive), and ensure account information is up-to-date. Work collaboratively with the sales team to manage leads effectively.
Lead Qualification:
Develop thorough lead qualifications using solution-selling techniques to identify the client’s technology needs, authority, budget, and timeline.
Sales Tools:
Utilize Zomentum for quotes, templates for converting approved quotes into IT projects, and collaborate with the team on CRM management for accurate tracking and reporting of IT-related sales. Collaborate with
Teams:
Work closely with leadership, sales, and marketing teams to nurture leads from campaigns, webinars, and events. Ensure follow-ups are timely and sales goals are met. What We’re Looking For (Minimum Qualifications):
Experience:
1+ years in sales, relationship management, or customer support. Experience in inside sales, cold calling, or appointment setting, especially in the IT/technology industry, is a plus.
Phone Presence:
Comfortable making outbound calls to businesses, with a strong and energetic phone presence.
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with active listening to understand IT needs and deliver tailored solutions.
Tech-Savvy:
Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365, CRM software (Salesforce, Zoho, HubSpot), and the ability to quickly learn.
Motivation & Goals:
Self-driven with a strong desire to meet goals in a fast-paced IT sales environment. Eagerness to learn and grow within the technology sector.
Organizational Skills:
Strong organizational and time management skills, able to manage multiple leads, requests, and deadlines.
Growth-Oriented:
Eager to grow within the IT industry through mentorship, training, and career development initiatives. B2
B & IT/Tech Sales Experience:
Experience in IT, technology, or B2B sales is a plus but not required. A passion for technology solutions and how they can drive business success is key.
