  • Remote Job description Job Overview We are seeking motivated and results-driven Business Development Representatives to join our team.

Knowledge of commercial roofing is a plus, but 100% not necessary with success being effort driven. The role is to simply introduce our company to your local market. Once the sales and technical conversations are needed you will be handing the relationship off to our ownership and inside sales team. This is a great opportunity for a 2nd income if you aren’t ready to tackle it full-time. This job provides major flexibility in your schedule without being capped on earning potential. The ideal candidate will be responsible for introducing our Roofing Material Products to commercial roofing companies in their strategic markets. We have an extensive list of companies and contacts to help provide immediate success. The product is commodity based, and half the battle is letting the contractors know we exist. The goal is to put our company information in the decision makers’ hands. Your success will be driven by effort to make contacts

  • you won’t be expected to make sales; sales will be the responsibility of our home office team after the hand off. You will be utilizing Zoho CRM to track activities and manage customer interactions. Responsibilities Be a people person
  • Make connections with decision makers and put our company information in front of them
  • the rest will fall into place Identify and pursue new business opportunities through contacts we provide and general area knowledge
  • the markets we are attacking have large potential for business Help maintain the accounts local to you Collaborate with internal sales teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client support.

Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and pipeline status using our CRM. Provide regular updates on activity and any warm/hot contacts to management so they can pursue the sale Experience Proven experience in Commercial Roofing or Building Materials sales would be great but people skills is really what this position takes

  • They already know what the is, and they already buy it… They simply need to know this brand is available to them manufacture direct Proficiency in using CRM software for tracking activities is highly desirable
  • again not necessary especially because the software is very simple to learn Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients easily.

Strong commission structure that continues to pay for the length of the relationship. This isn’t a one time pay and done… as you open doors those accounts keep paying you. It only takes one good account to start paying extremely well and we can dive into the pay schedule once you reach out to discuss. This is what makes this job such a great opportunity for a 2nd income if you aren’t ready to make it your primary. There is also comp for customer connections such as calls setup with decision makers

  • Majority of the pay comes from account activity as the relationship grows but we do have comp items along the way to help offset cost as well.

1099 contract Bonus opportunities Commission pay (your book of business continues to pay on every order vs a single line pay and sets up nicely for residual income) Performance bonus Uncapped commission
