As we expand, we’re looking for a driven Sales Rep who thrives on building genuine relationships and guiding clients through every step of the roofing process. Role Overview As a Commercial Roofing Sales Representative, you’ll be the first point of contact for inbound leads—ensuring every potential customer feels valued and informed. You’ll conduct site visits, develop accurate quotes, and follow up closely to close deals. This role is ideal for someone who excels at relationship-building, enjoys customer interaction, and is eager to learn the roofing business from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities Manage Inbound Leads:
Quickly respond to incoming inquiries (calls, emails, contact forms) and schedule site visits.
Conduct Site Visits:
Inspect commercial properties, assess roofing needs, and take accurate measurements/photos.
Develop Detailed Quotes:
Collaborate with our estimating team to prepare transparent, professional proposals.
Build & Maintain Relationships:
Cultivate trust with facility managers, building owners, and decision-makers—keeping them informed and engaged throughout the sales cycle.
Follow Up & Close Business:
Track proposals, address questions or objections, and guide clients toward a timely decision.
Coordinate Internally:
Work closely with project managers and installation crews to ensure seamless handoffs once a contract is signed.
Stay Organized:
Maintain up-to-date records in our CRM, logging all client interactions, next steps, and follow-up tasks.
Qualifications & Skills Exceptional Relationship Skills:
You genuinely enjoy connecting with people, listening to their needs, and earning their trust.
Strong Communication:
Clear, confident communicator—both in person (site visits) and over the phone/email.
Detail-Oriented & Organized:
You track details diligently—measurements, client preferences, follow-up dates—so nothing falls through the cracks.
Self-Motivated & Coachable:
You’re driven to succeed but also eager to learn. Our team will provide industry training; you’ll bring the hunger to absorb it.
Basic Technical Aptitude:
Comfortable using a smartphone, tablet, or laptop for CRM entry, quoting tools, and sharing photos with team members. Preferred Background We’re especially interested in candidates who bring transferable skills from outside traditional roofing:
Religious Institutions:
Experience managing facilities, building relationships with boards or congregations, and coordinating maintenance budgets.
Coaches & Educators:
Proven ability to motivate, teach, and communicate—whether on a sports field or in a classroom.
HVAC, Plumbing, Painting & Other Trade Adjacent Industries:
Familiarity with service-based selling, estimating projects, and upselling solutions—your technical knowledge will translate quickly. Don’t worry if you’ve never sold roofing before—if you have a background in any of the above areas and excel at connecting with people, we want to train you. What We Offer On Target Earnings of $ 120k-$150k (Base Salary $60k-$80k + Uncapped Commission)
