Equipment Request Coordinator 3.7 3.7 out of 5 stars Nashville, TN 37228 Summary/Objectives The Equipment Request Coordinator is responsible for coordinating equipment requests (ERs) from sales orders with existing inventory. This position works with operations staff to ensure timely set up and delivery of equipment to a customer’s location. The Equipment Request Coordinator will ensure orders are processed accurately through the sales and financial software and with a high level of attention to detail while adhering to company policies and procedures. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Plan day/time management of paperwork. Process all incoming equipment requests (ERs) and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed. Communicate special order information to purchasing department when necessary. Process sales orders relative to the ERs. Communicate with set-up shop and Operations personnel to assign delivery dates to ERs. Document any special requests or changes to orders in current software. Research status of backorders on manufacturers’ websites. Verify that trade-in equipment listed on ER is accurate. Make sure accessory removals are returned to inventory in a timely manner. Participate in periodic inventory cycle counts. Research inventory accuracy issues and determine appropriate actions, along with management, that may be needed to correct issues. Effectively communicate with sales and service, answering questions with confidence and accuracy. Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Physical Demands Ability to sit for long periods of time.
