As a Regional Sales Representative, you will ultimately act as the face of our company by delivering outstanding customer service and building strong relationships. Responsibilities:
Present the company to potential food-away-from-home customers and create long-term relationships Perform the full sales cycle from generating leads and prospecting to closing and implementing the sale Manage customer expectations, provide exemplary service, and maintain customer relationships Travels throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from newspapers, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet Web sites, and other sources Effectively demonstrate product line Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
1-2 years of related experience in restaurant or premium food sales Bachelor’s Degree or Chef trained, preferred but not required Energetic, goal oriented, and competitive with proven examples of initiative and above-average performance Candidates must live in the assigned geographic sales area Ability to excel in a fast-paced and competitive sales environment Ability to multitask and prioritize in order to work on multiple prospects and maintain multiple accounts all while constantly focusing on growth A bias for action Experience in food service, restaurants, and sales is a strong positive An extroverted personality and skills at dealing with other people Good problem-solving skills and equanimity in stressful situations
Compensation:
The starting base salary range for this position is between $100,000 – $125,000 per year, with a competitive commission structure. By meeting sales goals, employees have the potential to double their base salary. Actual compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
