The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering products to various locations while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to upsell products, and efficient route management. The Route Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the company’s reputation for reliability. Responsibilities Safely operate a commercial vehicle to deliver products to designated routes. Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions. Upsell additional products during deliveries, enhancing customer satisfaction and driving sales. Organize delivery schedules and routes efficiently to optimize time and resources. Perform heavy lifting as required during loading and unloading of products. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including quantities, prices, and customer signatures. Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Address any customer inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally. Requirements Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) is preferred but not mandatory; experience in route driving is a plus. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members. Basic math skills for handling pricing and transactions accurately. Previous experience in sales or upselling is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed during deliveries.
