Job Description

Sales Representative Confidential Nashville, TN 37217 Nashville based low-voltage system integrator seeks a Sales Representative. Responsibilities will include representing the Company for the sale of Low Voltage Cabling, Fire Alarm, A/V, CCTV and Access Control services to commercial, industrial, education, healthcare, and municipal facilities. The successful candidate will be detail oriented with the ability to review and understand low voltage systems as well as prepare service and/ or inspection proposals and service agreements. Applicant must be able to travel and meet face-to-face with corporate customers in Middle Tennessee. The position will be based in our Nashville offices. Experience with Cabling, Fire Alarm, A/V, CCTV and Access Control services will make you stand out but is not required. This position requires someone with a relentless passion and skill for prospecting. Responsibilities Prospecting for new clients through various sales techniques including but not limited to cold calling, attending networking functions, referrals, targeting vertical markets, and presenting product demonstrations. A focus on building relationships with business owners and developing a consultive relationship that identifies opportunities to improve and enhance the life safety, security, and communications systems for the client. Self-generate leads and convert leads to booked business and long-term relationships. Use CRM to track and follow-up with leads and opportunities and keep leadership aware of pipeline and opportunity developments. Learn and retain product specific knowledge to leverage throughout the sales process. Engage internal team members at appropriate times to support the sales process. Qualifications 5 Years of B2B sales experience. Prior experience in solution-based selling. Prior experience in fire alarm, surveillance cameras, access control or cabling. (Preferred) Skilled at self-generating leads. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Possess and maintain reliable transportation for prospecting and client visits. Pass pre-employment drug screening, background and reference check.
