The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales and enhancing customer satisfaction in a retail environment, specifically within a grocery store setting. This role requires a strong focus on upselling products, maintaining stock levels, and providing exceptional customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience. Duties Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations. Utilize upselling techniques to increase sales and enhance customer satisfaction. Maintain accurate stock levels and assist in inventory management to ensure product availability. Supervise and train new sales staff, fostering a collaborative team environment. Apply retail math skills to manage transactions accurately and efficiently. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience. Stay informed about product offerings, promotions, and store policies to effectively assist customers. Experience Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred. Strong understanding of basic math principles and retail math applications. Proven ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Excellent communication skills with a focus on providing outstanding customer service. Experience in supervising or training staff is a plus but not required.
