If you have a passion for sales and want to work for two fast-growing and disruptive national spirit brands then we may have a position for you. We are hiring a TN/GA area sales representative to promote our brands in retail locations, bars, restaurants and a variety of outdoor events. The position is preferably based in the general northern VA area, but the right candidate needs to be able to travel overnight to other parts of the state and to MD and DC. No industry experience required. We are looking for someone that fits the brands and or culture first, then we will train them on the products.

About Don Gato Tequila:

Tequila Don Gato is Georgia native/South Carolina resident Danny McBride’s anti-celebrity, celebrity tequila based on a fictional, feline-loving, retired luchador. It is completely additive-free, made from 100% blue agave, and currently available in two award-winning expressions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Drive Sales & Market Share growth
  • Create and execute quarterly market plans including area travel and marketing budget
  • Creatively influencing purchasing teams and store advocates to on-board new and additional SKU’s
  • Scheduling and conducting tasting events and customer appreciation demos to educate end-consumers and bartenders.
  • Work hand and hand with the Best Brands and United distributors in each market.
  • Strategically assessing stores promotional needs and implementing promotions based off the best ROI
  • Scheduling bartender educations to capture advocates and help influence sales
  • Influencing in-store merchandising and marketing opportunities to position ourselves as a premier partner.
  • Intimately understand the customers and the end consumers within your territory
  • Add detailed notes on a weekly cadence with action plans
  • Maintain a shared customer log with detailed daily notes on activity
  • Checks on competitive activity and reports intelligence in a timely manner.
  • Keeps informed of competitor products, services, and other general information of internal interest
  • Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice
Qualifications:
  • Only hard-working self-starters who are hungry for professional growth and willing to work for should it apply.
  • Must be willing to enter at the ground level and looking for the opportunity to work hard and work your way up into a management position.
  • Must have a passion for good tasting items. That can include whiskey. tequila, craft beers, wine or food!
  • General understanding of Excel and Google Sheets
  • Must be willing to proactively seek out creative ways to expand the brand
  • Must be able to develop and manage a budget
  • Creatively solve problems and overcome objections
  • Must be able to travel up to 70% within the defined territory, including some overnight trips
Compensation:
