Position Title:
Sales Coordinator Overview:

The Sales Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the efficient and accurate processing of client and prospect accounts within the Sales Department. This individual will work closely with the Strategic Accounts team, producers, and supervisors at Reliance Partners to ensure seamless administrative and operational support throughout the sales cycle. This is a dynamic, long-term opportunity to grow within the fast-paced and rewarding field of transportation insurance.

Job Scope:

This role requires the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while operating within the guidelines set forth by the SVP of Strategic Accounts and the agency manual. Day-to-day responsibilities involve decision-making aligned with company policies, insurance contract requirements, underwriting guidelines, and applicable state or federal insurance laws. Independent judgment is also expected in the absence of clear precedent.

Primary Responsibilities:

The Sales Coordinator will assist with a variety of administrative and client service tasks, including but not limited to: Collaborate with Account Executives on new and renewal business accounts Prepare and manage submission materials, proposals, and finance contracts Request and collect necessary documentation from clients, such as: IFTAs (International Fuel Tax Agreements) Loss Runs and Financial Statements Current equipment and driver schedules Run Motor Vehicle Reports (MVRs) and summarize IFTA and Loss History Complete and submit all company-required applications Ensure FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) filings are complete Maintain organized records for all existing clients and prospective customers Utilize Reliance Partners’ sales tools and CRM platform to track and update the status of new and renewal accounts throughout the sales lifecycle

Qualifications:

Active resident-state Commercial Property & Casualty insurance license preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment Highly organized with a logical approach to managing multiple tasks Adaptability to evolving policies and procedures Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, email platforms, and internet-based tools Strong written and verbal communication skills
