Job Title:
Outdoor Equipment Sales Team Member Leeper Hardware is seeking a Full or Part-Time Salesperson for our outdoor Power Equipment Department. Candidates must have sales experience and/or outdoor power equipment(lawnmowers, chainsaws, trimmers, ect.) experience. We are a family-owned and operated business that has been serving our community for 76 years. Target Responsibilities; Puts “Customer First, Task Second” Greets every customer in a timely and friendly manner Assess customer needs and provide assistance and information on products and services Professionally communicates with customers in person and over the phone Generates sales through active sales processes Speak clearly and persuasively in all situations; respond well to questions. Actively promote increased sales by understanding the customer’s needs Maintain a working knowledge of Outdoor Power Equipment to provide customers with quick and accurate information Stay current on Outdoor Power Equipment available to customers and their uses through training and experience Maintain a working knowledge of computer systems software used Daily Duties and Responsibilities; Work to develop a sense of “team” in the sales area and across other departments Educate customers on Outdoor Power Equipment use Work with customers through the Outdoor Power Equipment purchase process Create follow-up list and referral list for future clients Prepare Outdoor Power Equipment sales tickets. Maintain sales area in a clean and organized format. Understand how to provide finance solutions for customers, and how to properly handle paperwork for payments.
