Summary We are seeking a dynamic Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving advertising sales efforts and building strong relationships with East Tennessee businesses. Responsibilities Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients to drive advertising sales. Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize revenue opportunities. Manage a portfolio of accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and retention. Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and trends. Collaborate with the editorial team to align advertising strategies with magazine content. Prepare sales presentations and proposals tailored to client needs. Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets through effective direct sales strategies. Requirements Proven experience in sales. Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals. Excellent customer service skills to foster positive client relationships. Ability to manage multiple accounts effectively while meeting deadlines. Experience in direct or outside sales is highly desirable. Familiarity with the publishing industry is a plus but not required.
