Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and creative Design Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this client-facing role, you will conduct in-home consultations, offering customized window treatment solutions that balance both function and aesthetics. You will also play a key role in generating leads, achieving sales targets, and delivering outstanding customer service. This is a 100% commission-based position with uncapped earning potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Engage with prospective clients through in-home consultations, understanding their needs, and recommending tailored design solutions Prepare and present quotes, and effectively close sales during appointments Develop new sales opportunities through networking, referrals, and proactive outreach (most leads are provided) Represent the company at trade shows, community events, and other marketing initiatives Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, trends, and sales best practices
Qualifications:
Previous experience in interior design, in-home sales, or a related field preferred Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills Self-motivated with a proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general tech-savviness Excellent relationship-building skills and a willingness to receive and apply feedback Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
