Location This hybrid-traveling position is located outside of Millwood Inc. Smyrna, TN location and is intended to be up to 50% travel-based. Candidates must reside in the geographic territory that they are responsible for covering. Reporting Relationships The Inside Sales & Sourcing Representative will report to the Regional Operations Manager. This role has no direct reports. Position Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail oriented Inside Sales and Sourcing Representative to play a key role in driving sales growth and supporting procurement efforts within our manufacturing operations. This dual-function role involves sourcing essential materials to optimize production efficiency while managing the inside sales process—from identifying prospects to closing deals. Your work will directly influence supply chain stability and revenue performance. Essential duties and responsibilities Sourcing Source raw materials, components, and equipment critical to daily manufacturing operations. Monitor supplier performance and inventory levels to ensure continuity in production. Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify opportunities for process improvements. Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules. Inside Sales & Lead Development Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and proactive outbound outreach (calls and emails). Understand customer needs, technical requirements, and operational challenges to position relevant manufacturing solutions. Guide qualified leads through the sales process and manage the full sales cycle to close. Achieve and exceed quarterly sales targets aligned with company goals. Conduct account research to identify key decision-makers and develop tailored outreach strategies. Partner with channel distributors and internal stakeholders to build a robust sales pipeline and close opportunities. Conduct effective virtual demos and presentations to prospective customers in industrial and manufacturing sectors
Skills & Competencies :

Requirements :
2+ years of experience in inside sales, sourcing, or procurement—preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Operations, or a related field preferred or equivalent work experience. Strong understanding of manufacturing supply chains and sales processes. Proficiency in ERP and CRM systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Salesforce). Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work cross-functionally in a fast-paced setting.
