Position Overview The OE Business Development and Inside Sales Support Representative will be the primary contact for an assigned customer base, driving new business opportunities and supporting existing relationships. This role is critical in facilitating communication between Engineering, Customer Service, and other functional areas of the company. The representative will oversee quoting, pricing, and providing technical support to customers, with the ultimate goal of growing sales and meeting annual revenue targets. Key Responsibilities Drive new business through inside sales growth strategies, managing and growing assigned customer accounts. Revive inactive accounts, identify new market opportunities, and implement penetration strategies. Lead and manage salesforce campaigns, email marketing initiatives, and print outreach. Handle quoting/pricing/sampling for customer RFQs, ensuring accuracy and timely communication. Collaborate with Engineering on new product developments, including PCRs and ECRs. Analyze pricing and gross margins to identify opportunities for revenue and profit growth. Support new customer setups by managing credit approvals, pricing, and forecast entries. Respond to customer requests, including environmental surveys, SDS, and compliance documentation. Coordinate sample requests and facilitate smooth communication between production, engineering, and sales teams. Maintain detailed records of pricing, quotations, and customer data within AS400 systems. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or equivalent education and experience. Minimum of 3 years of sales or marketing experience in an industrial sales Proven background in pricing industrial products and strong technical aptitude. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with Filemaker Pro and AS400 is a plus. Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
