Position Overview Are you a passionate self-starter who excels in communication and has strong negotiation skills? Metalloid corporation is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Sales Representative to lead efforts in generating leads, negotiating sales, and acquiring new business. This role will be pivotal in expanding our customer base by identifying new opportunities, making cold calls, following up on leads and closing sales.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Communicate with customers via phone, email, and trade shows to provide product-solution assistance
  • Generate leads through cold calling, networking, and referrals
  • Follow up on leads and convert them into sales opportunities
  • Present and sell products to prospective clients
  • Re-engage previous customers to facilitate new business
  • Educate customers on terminology, features, and benefits of products
  • Develop and manage a sales pipeline in your prospective territory
  • Negotiate and close deals while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project execution
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, competitors, and product knowledge
  • Other duties as assigned
Experience and Skills:
  • HS Diploma (Required)
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in B2B sales in the industrial/manufacturing field ( Preferred )
  • Effective organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong ability to work independently and manage time appropriately
  • Ability to think strategically to identify new opportunities
  • Background in lead generation and cold calling
  • Demonstrated success in negotiating and closing deals
  • Familiarity with inside sales techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building client relationships Work location/travel requirements We are currently seeking a sales representative in the Tennessee area
  • Sales representatives will work remotely in a home office
  • Sales representatives will be required to travel a minimum of 4 days per week Compensation & Benefits
  • Base salary: $25,000 – $30,000
  • Commission 20%
