The RV Sales Consultant also builds and maintains strong relationships with customers, assists with marketing efforts, and provides exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including follow-up communication and providing ongoing customer support Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to customers, showcasing the features and benefits of RVs Develop and implement sales strategies to increase sales volume and meet or exceed sales goals Manage the sales process from start to finish, including negotiating sales terms and coordinating financing and paperwork Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information and sales records Assist with marketing efforts, such as organizing events, participating in trade shows, and promoting specials and discounts Stay up-to-date on industry trends, new products, and competitor offerings to inform sales strategies and product knowledge Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process, addressing customer questions and concerns and following up with customers after the sale Collaborate with the RV service and parts teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products and services Adhere to NIRVC policies and procedures, including sales and safety protocols Maintain other duties as assigned or requested.
Qualifications:
2+ years of sales experience, preferably in the RV or automotive industry Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers Excellent customer service skills, including follow-up communication and support Strong sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to close deals and meet or exceed sales goals Knowledge of RV products, features, and benefits preferred; willingness to learn and stay up-to-date on industry trends Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational and time management skills Professional appearance and presence Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Ability to work weekends and holidays, as required
Working Conditions:
Work is primarily conducted on-site, with occasional off-site visits to customers or events May require extended periods of standing or sitting, as well as walking and moving around the dealership and RVs May require lifting or moving heavy equipment or objects May require working in outdoor or semi-outdoor environments, including exposure to weather conditions May require occasional travel to attend training or events What we offer: We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for career advancement.
