Full-Time, Permanent Position Summary:

Fortun Insurance is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Commercial Lines Insurance Producer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, developing relationships with commercial clients, and providing tailored insurance solutions to meet their unique needs. This is a client-facing sales role focused on building a strong book of business and delivering exceptional service in line with Fortun Insurance’s commitment to integrity, excellence, and trust.

Key Responsibilities:

Prospect, develop, and secure new commercial insurance accounts through networking, referrals, and targeted outreach Assess client risk exposure and insurance needs; recommend appropriate commercial insurance coverages and carriers Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and quotes to potential clients Collaborate with account managers and underwriting teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and retention Maintain a strong pipeline and manage leads through the full sales cycle using CRM tools Provide ongoing support and risk management guidance to existing clients Achieve or exceed monthly and annual sales goals and performance metrics Stay informed of industry trends, carrier guidelines, and regulatory updates Represent Fortun Insurance professionally at industry and networking events

Qualifications:

Active 2-20 General Lines License (or willingness to obtain) Minimum 2 years of experience in commercial insurance sales or related role Strong knowledge of commercial insurance lines including property, general liability, workers’ comp, commercial auto, E&O, and more Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills Ability to build rapport with business owners and decision-makers across various industries Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and agency management systems (e.g., AMS360, EPIC) Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills
