Summary:
Responsible for themanagement of the assigned principals’ business (division and/orgeographic), within designated “customer accounts”. Primaryresponsibility includes increasing sales and market share of thebrands represented, while earning a profit for our manufacturersand Acosta.
Essential Functions:
1. Deliver principals’ objectivesto include volume and sales fundamentals (merchandising,assortment, pricing and shelving) goals at the assigned customersat the lowest cost. 2. Develop a Customer Business Plan that willdeliver the principals’ business priorities. 3. Call on alldecision-makers at the customer to sell business plans, programsand concepts that improve long-term business results. 4. Achieveresults at the lowest possible selling cost while maximizingcompany revenue (to include brokerage, commissions, bonuses,contest earning, etc.). Oversee all manufacturers’ expenditures atthe customer level. 5. Achieve competitively superior in-storepresence in the assigned stores. Call on headquarters, supervisorsand other customer operations personnel for both direct andindirect customers. Manage manufacturers’ trade marketing funds,process direct shipments (via the Sales Support Coordinator) andleverage data to sell concepts to the customer. 6. Operate withinthe designated budget. 7. Pro-actively communicate with keyprincipals. 8. Collaborate with Retail Sales Managers on all majorretail initiatives (new product introductions, selling drives,contests, etc.). 9. Effectively use knowledge of customer, market,and principal
- involve marketing, technology, and administrativeresources to accomplish objectives.
10. Provide timely informationof selling priorities to Retail Sales Managers, supervisor andshared resources (marketing, technology, and administration). 11.Pro-actively share information and customer/principal informationwith other team members to build organization capacity. 12. Utilizecomputer systems and technology to achieve the objectives of theCustomer Business Plan. Develop and maintain skill levels tosupport the use of Acosta communication systems. 13. Providefeedback to the Team Leader and/or General Manager on how to buildorganizational capacity and improve our business. 14. Meeting thephysical requirements

High School Diploma/GED Work ExperienceRequirements:
Minimum of six months of relevant experience inretail (CPG industry), marketing, space management, and/or resets.
Sales administration or finance experience preferred.
Knowledge,Skills and Abilities Requirements:
1. Expertise in
Microsoftsoftware:
PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook, as well as athorough knowledge of web-based applications. 2. Must haveexcellent presentation skills. 3. Must be able to handle multipleprojects simultaneously. 4. Must have valid driver’s license. 5.This position requires that you drive on behalf of Acosta Sales &Marketing. Therefore, any DUI/DWI conviction in the past 36 monthswill be an immediate disqualifier for this position.
