Position Overview:

The primary function of the Direct Sales Regional Supervisor is to recruit, develop and manage a local sales team with a goal of maximizing customer growth in our marketplace. This position will supervise a minimum of 4-6 direct sales representatives.

Position Responsibilities:

Train, develop and motivate a team of direct sales representatives who can work both individually and as a team to meet and exceed weekly sales requirements and goals.
Work with the local marketing and training staff to impart knowledge of new products and services to sales team, and technical staff to ensure timely installation of sales.
Ability to review and reconcile payroll commissions and time sheets.
Monitor budget and reconcile monthly P/L reports.
Write and deliver meaningful mid-year and annual reviews along with coaching and performance improvement plans as needed.
In coordination with direct sales representatives, help prospect and perform direct sales activities for new residential opportunities by accompanying reps in the field.
Track and report daily, weekly, monthly rep activity.
Create action plans and coach reps to meet requirements. Develop programs to exceed goals.

Position Requirements:

College degree preferred in Sales/Marketing, Communications, or Business, or equivalent experience.
2 – 4 years of relevant sales and marketing experience.
Highly effective verbal and written communication skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
Knowledge of telecommunications industry.
Ability to travel 50% of the time, with limited overnight stays.
