Job DescriptionThe Supervisor, SMB Telesales will oversee a teamof Outbound Telesales Representatives dedicated to servicingSpectrum Business’ existing customers and new business acquisitionprospects. Primary duties include effectively managing salesefforts for adding new customer acquisitions, bundling companyproducts, and adding additional primary service units (PSUs) toexisting Spectrum Business Customers. The Telesales Supervisor isresponsible for the coaching and development of TelesalesRepresentatives and maintaining all aspects of the outboundtelemarketing operating structure, specifically leading their teamtowards achieving sales quotas and increasing base customer PrimaryService Units (PSUs). A successful Telesales Supervisor willeffectively lead a team that regularly exceeds assigned sales quotaobjectives and builds/maintains a strong customer experience. TheTelesales Supervisor will provide leadership to their team thatallows for achievement of desired sales objectives, operationalenhancements, process compliance and collaboration within theirteam and across the sales channel.

MAJOR DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES

Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify andenhance the customer experience. Develop outbound lead strategy to optimize and maximizecontacts to drive sales with strong list yield. Actively and consistently support efforts to simplify andenhance the customer experience. Coach, train and lead a team of Telesales Representatives toincrease productivity and maintain sales goals. Set goals and objectives for the assigned TelesalesRepresentatives. Identify and implement ways to increase productivity andperformance for the Telesales Representatives. Ensure Telesales Representatives are sufficiently trained inthe necessary functions and products in order to guarantee all workis completed accurately and in a timely manner. Work with management to track and improve representative andlead performance as it pertains to sales quotas and retention ofthe assigned base of customers. Motivate the assigned Telesales Reps to be accountable forexceeding individual and team sell-in, adherence, quality, andcustomer service established goals. Design and implement department programs to motivate andrecognize employees on a daily basis. Support recruitment and training efforts to develop and retaina strong sales force. Effectively manage day to day attendance tracking, policyadherence, escalation resolution and performance issues. Effectively utilize operational processes, data, reports andprograms to maximize department, campaign and individualresults. Ensure continuous individual and team competence by byproviding optimum selection, training, development, appraisal andmotivation techniques and tools. Generate sustained incremental sales through problemidentification and increasing Telesales Representativedevelopment. Oversee the implementation of new products, campaigns andtechnologies. Exercise multi-tasking skills when volume and workload exceedexpectations. Interface with other departments through written and verbalcommunication to identify and implement process improvements. Serve as back up for the Outbound Dialer and become subjectmatter expert to help close performance gaps Handle escalations as required within a 24 hour SLA and soonerif required by management Perform other duties as required.

REQUIREDQUALIFICATIONS

Required Skills/Abilities and Knowledge Ability to read, write, speak and understand English Ability to lead and motivate a high performing sales team whileproviding the best solutions for Spectrum Business customers. Knowledge of commercial Internet, video and data and telephoneproducts and services Adaptable to flexible schedules based on business needsRequiredEducationBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, related field orequivalent experience. Required Related Work Experience and Numberof Years Sales experience in an MSO or telecommunications Industry -2+ Management experience (can be supplemented with College Degree)- 2+ Experience with customer interaction in a business-to-businessenvironment. Experience with processes in a call center sales environmentincluding dispatch, field, and back office.

PREFERREDQUALIFICATIONS

Preferred Skills/Abilities and KnowledgeFamiliaritywith ICOMS, CSG, ATLAS, Salesforce and/or other call trackingsoftware is a plus WORKING CONDITIONSOffice work environment whereemployee may need to be seated for long periods of time while usinga telephone headset and computer.
