Summary:
Implements, manages, and administers the activities associated with the sales office, sales support team and key vendors to achieve desired objectives. Ensures coverage in the sales office and provides leadership to sales support team to assist Lottery Sales Representatives, vendors and retailers in a timely fashion.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education:
Bachelors degree from a recognized college or university with a major study in marketing, business administration or a related subject field. Each additional year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year of required work experience.
Experience:
Five years related work experience in a sales and marketing environment, at least two years of which shall have been in a supervisory capacity. Each additional year of approved work experience may be substituted for one year of required formal education.
License/Certification:
Possession of a valid New Hampshire drivers license. State of New Hampshire defensive driving certificate required.

Oversees and manages the Lottery Retail Sales Office operations, ensuring that product appearance and placement and sales promotions continuously meet and exceed standards and provide an exceptional customer experience. Provides exceptional customer service while ensuring proper money handling, balancing of inventory, and processing of claims.
Supervises Internal Sales staff (Sales Support and Sales Office), to include approving leave, completing performance appraisals, and scheduling of staff to ensure incoming calls and requests for information are covered at all times and workflow is not interrupted. Recommends personnel actions for subordinate employees, including hiring, incremental salary increases, memos of counsel, and disciplinary actions. Hosts weekly meetings with direct reports.
Analyzes sales strategies and works with Sales Supervisor to conduct trainings in new sales strategies being introduced to sales staff and retailers. Oversees the development of promotions and trainings for retailers in conjunction with guidance by sales management. Works with vendors on retailer training content changes and reviews all training documents.
