Sr. Sales Administrator
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Senior Sales Administrator to join our team in North Charleston, South Carolina. In this long-term contract role, you will provide essential support to the sales and operations teams, ensuring seamless administrative processes and exceptional customer service. This position offers an opportunity to work closely with executive leadership while contributing to the success of a global leader in pump manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Vice President, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
- Create and manage sales quotes using company systems, maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Utilize CRM tools to track and manage customer interactions and data.
- Generate and process customer invoices, ensuring timely and accurate billing.
- Respond promptly to team and customer inquiries, typically within one hour.
- Participate in daily team meetings, sharing updates and contributing to team goals.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote a productive environment.
- Assist with cross-training initiatives to enhance team versatility and collaboration.
- Step in to support other team members during absences or to help achieve company objectives.
- Perform all responsibilities with a positive attitude and a strong focus on teamwork.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in a sales support role, demonstrating strong organizational skills.
- At least 2 years of experience working with SAP or similar ERP systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with at least 4 years of hands-on experience.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with team members and customers.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple tasks independently.
- Confidence in handling inbound and outbound calls in an organized and efficient manner.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
