Solar Sales Consultant JD Solar Consultants, LLC Fort Myers, FL 33913 • Hybrid work Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Solar Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for educating potential customers about solar energy solutions, guiding them through the sales process, and helping them make informed decisions about their energy needs. This position requires a strong background in technical sales and customer service, as well as the ability to negotiate effectively and work independently in an outside sales environment. Responsibilities Engage with potential customers to assess their energy needs and provide tailored solar solutions. Conduct presentations and demonstrations to showcase the benefits of solar energy systems. Utilize Salesforce to manage customer interactions and track sales progress. Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to close sales effectively. Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process, ensuring a positive experience for all clients. Stay updated on industry trends, product knowledge, and competitor offerings to maintain a competitive edge. Collaborate with team members to develop strategies for increasing market penetration and achieving sales targets. Participate in community events and outreach programs to promote solar energy awareness. Experience Proven experience in technical sales, preferably in the energy or solar industry. Strong customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction. Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM software is highly desirable. Ability to negotiate effectively and close deals in an outside sales environment. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this will enhance communication with diverse clientele.
