Job Description

Position Overview:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Solar Energy Consultant to join our team. As a Solar Energy Consultant, you will work closely with clients to assess their energy needs, educate them on the benefits of solar energy, and provide customized solutions to help them reduce energy costs and minimize their environmental footprint. You will be responsible for evaluating client sites, designing solar energy systems, and managing projects from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
Client Consultation:

Meet with clients to understand their energy needs, goals, and budget for solar energy systems. Provide expert guidance on the benefits, costs, and ROI of solar power installations.

Site Assessments:

Conduct on-site evaluations of residential, commercial, or industrial properties to assess solar energy potential, including roof space, sun exposure, and shading factors.

System Design:

Create detailed solar energy system designs tailored to each client’s needs. This includes selecting appropriate equipment (e.g., solar panels, inverters, battery storage) and ensuring the system meets all safety and regulatory standards.

Proposal Development:

Develop and present detailed proposals that outline system specifications, cost estimates, potential savings, financing options, and projected timelines.

Project Management:

Oversee the installation process, working with contractors, engineers, and project teams to ensure timely and efficient implementation of solar projects.

Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure all installations comply with local regulations, codes, and permits. Stay up-to-date with industry standards, incentives, and rebates.

Customer Support:

Provide post-installation support, including system maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of energy production.

Market Research & Industry Trends:

Continuously monitor market trends, technological advancements, and changes in policies or incentives related to solar energy. Share knowledge with clients to ensure they benefit from the latest innovations and government incentives.

Sales & Business Development:

Support sales efforts by building relationships with potential clients and identifying opportunities for new business. Assist with marketing initiatives to promote solar energy solutions.
