Identify, prioritize, and resolve personnel and shipment issues within the department. Oversee and perform all tasks according to the proper method for the DC-WMS or paper.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Assist the Returns Supervisor with the following job duties: Supervise the unloading of trucks and maintain time limits for unloading trailers. Ensure the checkers are accurate in checking incoming returns while maintaining LPH and correct cut off procedures. Monitor the sorting of cores and completion of proper paperwork and procedures. Oversee the warranty process ensuring they are sorted and processed correctly. Manage the chemical area and ensure proper disposal. Coordinate the movement of batteries and ensure all procedures are followed correctly. Manage the rebox area to ensure proper handling of product. Monitor the maintenance of the log book, rep log, RGS log, and card files to assure they remain updated. Delegate responsibilities to aid in the daily operations of the returns department. Responsible for the safety of all DC team members and working with the safety supervisor with any safety or security concerns. Assist in any return problems that may arise. Responsible for team member evaluations being written and delivered in a timely manner. Assist in warehouse security. Plan and hold a monthly team member meeting. Work with the HR supervisor to interview and hire prospective team members. Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed and understood. Keep the DC clean, neat, and organized. Operate in a safe manner for the benefit of self and others and maintain a watchful eye for unsafe practices and situations. All other duties as assigned.

SKILLS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Required:

High school diploma or equivalent (GED) Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on customer service Demonstrated ability to oversee multiple tasks at one time and prioritize accordingly Demonstrated ability to read and match numerical and alphabetical characters quickly and accurately Basic computer skills

Desired:

Completion of the O’Reilly supervisor training program College degree Previous experience in an automotive parts warehouse and branch store Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired) Advanced computer skills O’Reilly Auto Parts has a proven track record of growth and stability.
