Full Job Description Description:

Hinckley has been building and servicing America’s finest yachts since 1928. We are seeking an Experienced Stockroom Clerk to join our Service team in Stuart, FL. The Stockroom Attendant compiles and maintains material and parts inventory and status information to expedite material and parts between the stockroom and production areas, according to predetermined schedules and materials lists. Candidate uses a computer-based inventory control system. The Stockroom Attendant may determine method for storage, identification, and stock location, considering weight limits, turnover, and required space. Work is performed under the supervision of the Purchasing Manager. Duties of the Stockroom Attendant include: Data entry Notes out-of-stock items and provides out-of-stock lists to the Purchasing team. Compares identifying information upon receipt of goods against bills of lading, packing lists, invoices, orders, or other records. Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and reports damage or shortages to the Purchasing Manager. Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies. Responsible for stocking/restocking shelves in the stockroom and clean up of stockroom area. May complete charge slips in response to requisition for materials and parts and records in computer inventory system. Performs annual physical inventory and periodic cycle counts and investigates and reports reasons for discrepancies. May drive to outlying work areas to check status of orders or to deliver/pick-up materials Conducts product ordering for both inventoried items and non-inventoried consumables as needed. Performs other related duties as necessary and assigned.

Requirements:

High School or general equivalency degree (GED) Knowledge of fundamental math and computer skills One to two years experience in a stockroom, parts, or warehouse manufacturing environment. Stockroom experience preferred Schedule 8AM – 12PM Monday-Friday
