Ideal Move is dedicated to helping seniors through the downsizing and relocation process when they move to a smaller home. We manage and coordinate all aspects of the transition, from logistics planning, furniture placement design, packing and unpacking services, and organizing their new homes.

Position Summary :

This is a great job for active people who like to stay busy, want meaningful work, and enjoy helping others. We are looking for someone starting in Mid June and staying on for a few months. There is the opportunity to stay on as a part-time team member, but that is not guaranteed. The Team Lead takes charge of the service delivery for each customer. This includes planning work and resources, solving problems, and managing a team of home organizers. The Team Lead and the team will provide the downsizing, packing, unpacking, and organization services we provide in our customer’s homes. The Team Lead is very attentive to the client’s needs, solves any obstacles that arise, and works alongside other team members in performing all the tasks required so the client has a successful transition and is well settled into their new home with as little stress as possible. At the end of each job, the Team Lead reports on service delivery. Most of the work is performed East of the St. Johns river in Jacksonville and St. Augustine, and the large majority is towards the beaches. Weekly hours vary and range between 15 to 30 hours a week Monday through Friday between 9am and 6PM.
