  • Statesboro, GA Department Information Eagle Dining Services Job Summary The Student Assistant will support the Eagles Dining as a Student Inventory Stock Clerk on the Statesboro Campus beginning Fall 2025.

The Student Inventory Stock Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, organizing stock, and ensuring that products and supplies are readily available for use. This position involves receiving deliveries, stocking shelves, tracking inventory, and assisting with the overall management of inventory systems. The role will require working in coolers and freezers to organize perishable goods, ensuring proper storage and rotation to maintain product quality and minimize waste. Student employees cannot work more than 1300 hours in a 12-consecutive month period. Responsibilities
Receive and check in deliveries, ensuring items match invoices and are in good condition
Stock shelves and storage areas with supplies and products
Organize inventory to ensure easy access and accurate tracking
Track inventory levels and notify supervisors when restocks are needed
Assist with inventory audits and ensure proper documentation of inventory counts
Maintain cleanliness and organization in storage area
Label and organize stock for easy identification
Assist in preparing orders for departments or facilities as needed
Perform regular inspections of stock to ensure it is properly stored and maintained
Help with unloading and moving inventory shipments
Follow all safety procedures and guidelines related to the handling of materials
Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors
Emptying the cardboard bins, maintaining the organization of the uniforms, and organizing/maintaining the back dock Shift Specifics Minimum 15 hours, up to 25 hours per week
Flexible with schedule of availability

  • 3:00 PM
    11:00 PM
  • 4:00 PM
    Required Qualifications Educational Requirements Must be enrolled in six or more undergraduate credit hours at Georgia Southern University
    Preferred Qualifications Preferred Experience Previous experience in inventory management, stocking, or similar roles is a plus but not required
    Proposed Salary $10.
