The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the organization and presentation of our products on the sales floor. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. As a Stocker, you will ensure that our inventory is well-stocked, organized, and readily available for customers. Duties Organize and stock shelves with merchandise, ensuring products are displayed attractively and accessible. Perform heavy lifting as required to move products from storage areas to sales floors. Assist with cash register operations when necessary, providing excellent customer service during transactions. Conduct regular inventory management tasks to maintain accurate stock levels and minimize discrepancies. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely restocking of produce and other perishable items. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse and stock areas to promote safety and efficiency. Monitor product expiration dates and rotate stock as needed to ensure freshness. Experience Previous experience in retail or warehouse environments is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with retail math concepts is advantageous for effective inventory management. Experience using cash registers or point-of-sale systems is a plus. Strong organizational skills are essential for maintaining an orderly stock area. Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout shifts is required. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and teamwork will contribute to success in this role.
