Nonexempt Position Purpose and Objectives Are you ready to contribute to a mission-driven organization? We are seeking team members who will play a vital role in maintaining the quality and efficiency of our operations. As a Roller, you will be responsible for ensuring a consistent flow of fresh merchandise to the retail floor. This role focuses on maintaining the presentation, rotation, and replenishment of products while adhering to organizational standards for quality and efficiency. Roles and Responsibilities Transport fresh products from the processing area to the retail floor using rolling racks. Place merchandise onto racks or shelves according to category, size, and tag color rotation guidelines. Replenish racks and shelves throughout the day to maintain a full and shoppable display. Ensure proper spacing and alignment of items for a neat and organized presentation. Follow established procedures to rotate color tags, removing old tag colors weekly. Identify and replace dead stock, damaged, or unsellable items as needed. Collaborate with other team members to maintain smooth transitions between workstations. Participate in team training to stay updated on quality standards and seasonal guidelines. Be flexible to assist with other tasks or workstations as needed. Rotate positions regularly to prevent repetitive motion injuries. Uphold the organization’s commitment to safety and quality in all tasks. Skills and Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age Consistent and Reliable Strong attention to detail to identify quality issues quickly. The ability to work efficiently to meet production targets. Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills. Familiarity with the handling and categorization of a variety of items, including clothing, toys, and household items. Operate in a fast-paced environment that requires standing, bending, and lifting throughout the shift. Handle merchandise bags weighing up to 50 pounds. Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. Ability to stand, walk, and meet other job-related demands for extended periods. Comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided.
