Food Safety & Quality Clerk Rachael’s Food Corporation 749 Meadow Street, Chicopee, MA 01013 Company Overview Rachael’s Food Corporation is a local USDA food manufacturing company dedicated to delivering the highest quality products to our customers. Summary We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Food Safety and Quality Clerk to join our team! This position will work closely with the Food Safety and Quality Manager in monitoring, quantifying, and filing all necessary HACCP, USDA and FDA and other documentation. Essential Functions Check daily products for allergen & date labeling. Responsible for temperature on production floor. Comply with all HACCP sanitation and proper food handling policies and procedures. Ensure product is being rotated properly. Must advise supervisor if food is above 40 degrees Fahrenheit, must dispose of food when necessary, and must document on waste log after advising supervisor. Comfortable handling employee minor disputes regarding working procedures and handle it professionally. Must be flexible with work schedule and hours Works in an environment of 38 degrees. Skills and Qualifications Must be able to read and write in English Ability to perform basic math, and use a calculator. Ability to multi-task . Attendance/Punctuality

Work Environment This job operates in a manufacturing facility where food products are processed. May require personal protective equipment (PPE) depending on environment. Employee will be exposed to varying temperatures, including cold refrigeration (38 degrees). While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and /or move 10
