The individual in this position is expected to engage and assist customers with their purchasing needs along with transporting donated/ purchased items to and from their personal vehicles. Sort, prepare, price, display donated items for the sales floor. Operate cash register / point of sale computer with the ability to complete accurate transactions for purchased items including reconciling the cash drawer and assist with completing bank deposits daily. Physical and Working Conditions Must be capable of performing the above essential duties. Capable of continuously lifting 5 pounds, frequently lifting 25 pounds, occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds and frequently moves 50 or more pounds using dolly/cart/truck. Most work will be indoors. The sales floor showroom is a temperature-controlled environment; however, the sorting/back room/storage area will be cold in the winter and hot in the summer.
