Livestock Ranch Worker Position Available In Hinds, Mississippi

1 Livestock Ranch Worker with Pecan Hill Farms, LLC at 19470 Hwy 18 Raymond, MS 39154 in Hinds and Madison counties. Caring for and manage livestock, including cattle, deer, goats, and rabbits. Herd animals to grazing areas, examine and treat animals for illness or injury, administer medications and vaccinations, and mark livestock for identification. Drive equipment to distribute feed, maintain and repair ranch equipment, and ensure animal housing areas are cleaned and sanitized. Assist with breeding, monitor animal growth and health, and maintaining detailed records on production and costs. Valid driver’s license is required within 30 days of hire. Employer-paid background check required for all new hires. Employer-paid post-hire random and uponsuspicion drug testing required. Lift/carry up to 50 lbs. Work is done outdoors for long periods and requires prolonged standing and/or walking, repetitive movements, and frequent bending and/or stooping.
