The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our warehouse or retail environment is organized and well-stocked. This position involves receiving, organizing, and maintaining inventory, as well as supporting the overall efficiency of our operations. Responsibilities Receive and unload shipments of products and materials. Organize stock in designated areas using proper inventory management techniques. Utilize equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts to move products safely. Maintain accurate inventory records using RF scanners. Ensure the sales floor is stocked with produce and other merchandise, adhering to company standards. Assist in conducting regular inventory counts to maintain stock accuracy. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely restocking of shelves. Keep work areas clean and organized to promote a safe working environment. Skills Experience in a warehouse or retail environment is preferred. Strong organizational skills to effectively manage stock levels and product placement. Familiarity with retail math for inventory management tasks. Ability to operate pallet jacks and forklifts safely (certification may be required). Proficiency in using RF scanners for tracking inventory. Capability to load and unload products efficiently while maintaining safety standards. Knowledge of produce handling and storage best practices is a plus. Attention to detail to ensure accurate stock management and maintenance.
