Donation Sorter Nifty Thrifty Thrift Shop 3722 Carolina Beach Road, Wilmington, NC 28412 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sorter to join our team. The Sorter will play a crucial role in the logistics and distribution process by efficiently organizing and categorizing donations as required. Requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Duties Load and Unload donations from vehicles Sorting clothing/linens/housewares as needed Marking and pricing items. Previous experience pricing used merchandise a plus Maintain an organized workspace to facilitate efficient sorting processes. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations and assist customers at the register as needed Position is currently part time (2-3 days a week) but full time opportunities available based on performance. Skills Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively. Strong knowledge on multitude of used merchandise categories Ability to perform heavy lifting, handling packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
