⚐ ⚑ ⚑ Shop Assistant needed part time (Greenpoint, Brooklyn) Bower Studios Humboldt near Meserole compensation: $23/hr employment type: experience level: entry level job title: Shop Assistant Shop Assistant (2-3 Days/Week) at our Furniture Design Studio We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented shop assistant to join our small team 2-3 days a week.
Main Responsibility:
- Wrapping and packing finished mirrors and furniture for shipping (including foam wrapping for white glove delivery, FedEx boxes, and freight crates)
Musts:
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to lift and move heavy furniture When packing is done, you’ll help out around the studio with things like:
- Assisting our glass specialist
- Organizing material samples
- Packing and shipping material samples
- Cleaning and organizing the studio
- Taking our the recycling and trash weekly
- General studio support If you’re dependable, hands-on, and enjoy working in a creative environment, we’d love to hear from you!
