Brooklyn, NY 11232 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Stocker to join our team in a fast-paced grocery store environment. The Stocker will be responsible for maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the store by efficiently stocking shelves, managing inventory, and ensuring that products are readily available for customers. This role requires strong customer service skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members to enhance the shopping experience. Duties Stock shelves with produce, packaged goods, and other grocery items in a timely manner. Maintain inventory levels by monitoring stock and assisting with shipping and receiving processes. Ensure that all products are displayed neatly and according to store standards. Provide excellent customer service by assisting shoppers with inquiries and locating products. Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized store environment. Operate forklifts safely when necessary for moving large quantities of stock. Assist in conducting regular inventory checks to ensure accuracy and availability of products. Experience Previous experience in a grocery store or retail environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with produce handling and maintenance is a plus. Multilingual or bilingual skills are advantageous for enhancing customer interactions. Strong communication skills and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service are essential. Experience with shipping and receiving processes is beneficial for this role.
