In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the merchandise department, ensuring that our store is well-stocked, organized, and providing exceptional customer service. You will lead a team of associates, driving sales and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the store. Responsibilities Supervise and train team members to ensure excellent customer service and adherence to store policies. Manage inventory control processes, including receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and conducting regular inventory audits. Maintain a clean and organized merchandise area to enhance the shopping experience for customers. Operate cash registers accurately and efficiently while ensuring compliance with cash handling procedures. Collaborate with management to develop sales strategies that promote product visibility and increase sales. Monitor sales performance and provide feedback to team members to improve productivity and customer engagement. Ensure that all merchandise is displayed according to company standards, including proper labeling and pricing. Skills Proven experience in store management or a similar retail leadership role. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers. Excellent inventory control abilities to maintain stock levels efficiently.
