This position involves managing inventory, ensuring products are stocked and accessible, and supporting the overall customer experience through effective communication and teamwork. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong organizational skills, and have a commitment to providing excellent customer service. Duties Organize and manage inventory in the backroom to ensure products are readily available for sales associates. Utilize RF scanners for tracking inventory levels and assist in restocking shelves as needed. Perform heavy lifting to move products from delivery areas to storage locations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the backroom area to comply with safety and health regulations. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth operations. Assist at the cash register during peak hours or as needed, providing exceptional customer service. Support sales associates by ensuring that products are well-stocked on the sales floor. Skills Strong customer service skills with a focus on enhancing the shopping experience for customers. Proficiency in using RF scanners for inventory management. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties. Experience with cash registers is a plus, contributing to overall store operations. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers. Organizational skills to maintain an orderly backroom environment. Multilingual abilities are a nice-to-have, enhancing communication with diverse customers. Previous experience in a grocery store setting is beneficial but not mandatory.
