The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of quality and freshness in our produce section while ensuring excellent customer service. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment. Responsibilities Maintain and stock fresh produce, ensuring quality and presentation meet company standards. Load and unload deliveries, checking for accuracy and quality of incoming products. Package produce items for sale, ensuring proper labeling and pricing. Assist customers with inquiries, providing knowledgeable recommendations on produce selection. Train and supervise team members in best practices for handling and displaying produce. Monitor inventory levels, placing orders as needed to ensure product availability. Implement safety and sanitation protocols within the department to maintain a clean work environment. Collaborate with other departments to promote sales initiatives and enhance customer experience. Experience Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store operations is preferred. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Experience with heavy lifting and physical demands associated with stocking and maintaining produce displays. Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customer bases.
