Scope and Purpose of Position The purpose of this position is to order lenses and frames from manufacturer to fulfill work orders and maintain inventory. Essential Functions Receives work orders from mapping for lenses that are not in stock Places short-orders and bulk orders of lenses and frames with manufacturer/DC Sends frame patterns/tags to providers as needed Conducts daily lens and frame cycle counts Generates lens and frame inventory reports Fills picking shelves with frames and lenses Returns defective lenses and frames to manufacturers and confirms credit is issued May coach and mentor other associates as needed Ensure and maintain the cleanliness of all equipment and workstation Practice and comply with all requirements of our Quality Management System (QMS), prescribed safety and hazardous materials handling procedures, and Federal/State laws regulating hazardous and non-hazardous waste disposal Education and Experience High School Diploma or GED preferred Ability to read work order/ticket Minimum 1 year of related manufacturing experience preferred Proficiency with MS Word and Excel Knowledge of lenses preferred Ability to think logically in following procedures and instructions HIPAA & Security Requirements All Associates must comply with the Health Insurance Portability Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) as it pertains to disclosures of protected health information (PHI) as described in the Notice of Privacy Practices and HIPAA Privacy Policies and Procedures.
